The Central Michigan University Board of Trustees has issued charter contracts to 58 schools, as of the 2009/2010 school year. These 58 charter schools, located throughout Michigan, serve 30,000 of Michigan's school children. The board is proud to be the nation's leading university authorizer of charter schools and even more proud of the charter schools it has authorized, their accomplishments and successes.
