Board members are appointed to serve in the best interest of the academy and the students they represent. In an effort to increase understanding of their roles and responsibilities, The Center for Charter Schools has developed an orientation guidebook designed to support and educate current and prospective board members. This guidebook addresses the Center's role as a charter school authorizer and board members' roles as public officials. A copy of the Board Orientation Guidebook and other resources are available on the left.
If you are interested in becoming a board member, you can fill out an application online or print off a copy and mail it in. The links are available on the left.
NOTE: If you are looking for the Contract Amendment applications, they are located on the Administrators tab.
