Recently, students from A.G.B.U. Alex and Marie Manoogian School’s automotive engineering class had the opportunity to meet with Bill Ford, executive chairman of Ford Motor Company. The meeting at Ford Field was facilitated by the Detroit Economic Club and gave the students the ability to ask Mr. Ford questions regarding the automotive industry.
Mary Rose Azar, a student who participated in the meeting shared the following about her experience:
“The students had the unique opportunity to speak with Mr. Ford and ask questions about the future of the automotive industry and the challenges faced by Ford Motor Company. Mr. Ford discussed how rapidly accelerating advances in technology are disrupting industries and how his company is addressing the change.”
