Camp Central for College Candidates is going into its fourth year and will be providing the opportunity for 100 seventh grade students to attend a four-day program in the summer with a focus on science, technology, engineering, art and math. In addition to classroom and lab learning, students experience campus living and explore opportunities for future careers.

Camp Central is available thanks to our partnership with CMU’s Office of the President, the Skilling and Andrews Foundation and the Dow Foundation. Camp Central 2017 will be hosting students from 12 CMU-authorized charter public schools: A.G.B.U. Alex and Marie Manoogian School, Flagship Charter Academy, Holly Academy, International Academy of Flint, Linden Charter Academy, New Branches Academy, North Saginaw Charter Academy, Noor International Academy, The Midland Academy of Advanced and Creative Studies, West Michigan Academy of Environmental Science, West Village Academy and Woodland Park Academy.
