School Lead
Jennifer serves as a school lead, providing expertise and guidance to schools on issues related to school operations, governance, general compliance and student achievement. She meets regularly with individual schools, attending board meetings, overseeing site visits and discussing each school’s unique areas of success and opportunity. Prior to joining the Center, she was the regional vice president for an educational service provider. She has also served in various roles including principal, assistant principal, teacher and counselor at several schools in both Sandusky, Ohio and Detroit. Prior to that Jennifer worked with Detroit Public Schools in numerous roles including chief of staff in the Office of the Superintendent. Jennifer has a Bachelor of Arts degree in French from the University of Michigan, Master of Arts degree in Counseling from the University of Detroit and her teacher certification from the University of Michigan. She also is a certified K-12 school administrator through the state of Michigan.
